Attorney Marc P. Garza brings over 12 years of legal experience to Malik & Associates, PLLC, where he serves as Of Counsel. Since the firm’s inception, Marc has been a trusted advisor and advocate, providing strategic and compassionate representation in family law matters. Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, he has built a distinguished career dedicated to guiding individuals through some of life’s most challenging legal disputes.
Marc’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child support, possession and access, paternity, adoption, and modifications of prior orders. Understanding that family law cases are deeply personal, he prioritizes cooperation and amicable resolutions, especially in cases involving children. However, when cooperation proves unattainable, Marc strongly advocates for mediation and alternative dispute resolution, resorting to litigation only when absolutely necessary. When court intervention is required, Marc is a formidable advocate, zealously protecting his clients’ rights and interests.
A Texas native, Marc was born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Dallas after his family relocated when he was two years old. He is an alumnus of Greenhill School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas A&M University at College Station in 2000. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2004, the same year he was admitted to the Texas Bar.
Other than a year spent at the Texas Workforce Commission, Marc has devoted his entire career to private practice, where he has built a reputation for strategic negotiation, client-focused advocacy, and skillful litigation in family law matters.
